Dr. Hsiang Lan Chan was born in Taipei, Taiwan before moving to Maryland with his family. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. Prior to Dental school, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from University of Maryland in College Park.

Dr. Chan continues to attend continuing education and is committed to expanding his knowledge to better care for his patients. In his free time, Dr. Chan enjoys traveling, playing basketball, cooking and exploring the local food scene.
